Air-con Servicing & Repair Terms & Conditions


“PME” : Refer to the company, POH MENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD

“Client” : Refer to the Owner, landlord, tenant, agent, customer

“Contract” : Refer to the whole of services & maintenance agreement

1. Duration and Access

Service appointment shall be arranged by either PME or by the client. Services may be rescheduled within 1 week, if repairing work is in progress for the faulty equipment. Request for specific date and time is subject to availability and on first-come-first-served basis. PME will schedule or adjust the service date to earlier or later to accommodate the regular servicing schedule and will inform the customer prior to rendering the services.


Services will be rendered during normal business hours:

Monday to Friday        9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday                     9:00am – 12:00pm

If Service is requested outside normal business hours, Service will be provided at a prevailing rate charged stated in Clause 5.

2. Coverage of Services

Routine maintenance is to be carried out by our service team. All service trips must be completed within stipulate contract period, any unused sessions will voided without notice. Any faulty equipment identified will be serviced regardless during the course of servicing. PME will provide a written/verbal quote for any variations, additional cost or additional service required or requested by Client prior to undertaking of the services (including repair of faulty equipment). All services will be carried out only upon written confirmation of PME quotation from the Client within the validity period of quotation.


2.1 Cost of Services

This contract is non-inclusive of cost of materials, equipment and parts to be repaired or changed. Cost of Services is chargeable depending on the nature or repair / replacement / labour & time spend. Any scope of works not mentioned in this contract will be charge separately such as erecting of scaffolding, usage of 10 step ladder and higher, topping up of any Freon / Refrigerant gas, overhaul with chemical cleaning, etc. For businesses, the client is required to provide PME with a purchase order (PO) of the services.

2.2 Payment

Full payment shall be payable upon purchase.


2.3 Completion of Services

Upon completion of each service, service report will be presented for your endorsement to acknowledge job satisfactorily completed.

2.4 Cancellation

Wasted trip such as when the Client or its representative is not reachable by phone on appointment time. PME reserves the right to reschedule the appointment to other available date. Transportation and administration charges for wasted trip will be charged to Client at $80.00 per trip.

3. Responsibilities & Performances

Client is responsible for managing, inspecting, accepting and paying for satisfied work done by PME in accordance to the Contract on the same day of completion.

PME reserves the right not to render the Services under the following condition:

1. Client failed to keep to the appointment;

2. Client failed to arrange access to the Equipment;

3. Unit breakdown / under repair; or

4. Condition of site is deemed to be unsafe by PME technician to carry out the Services.

PME or its representative shall extend a copy of service report indicating actual work performed and observations noted while carrying out the Services. Client or their appointed representative shall verify and endorse on this service report. PME reserves the right to vary the Annual Servicing Rate at any time without notice. This contract, however, shall be deemed to be a firm contract for the whole duration.


3.1 Liabilities

A party shall not be liable for any delay for failure to render services or failure to meet its obligations under this contract due to strikes, flood, fire and other causes that arises beyond its control. In the event of any such delay, PME and Client shall have the options to:

Extend the Contractual period in accordance to the delay; or

Terminate the Contract

4. Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable Agreement

This servicing agreement is non-amendable, non-transferrable and non-refundable once agreed and confirmed.


5. Termination of Agreement​

PME reserves the right to suspend all servicing and repairs if the Goods are damaged by negligence, altered, relocated / reinstalled, misused or tempered with, and any reinstatement expenses incurred by PME is payable by the Client. PME reserves the right to terminate this contract without notice in the event if:

1. The Client is in breach to the contract terms and condition

2. The Client’s failure to settle any outstanding money after 30Days in notice of demand from PME

3. The Client is liable for winding up order & receivership suspension.


There will be no refund for premature termination. Refund is subject to PME's approval on a case-by-case basis.


6. Emergency Service

Emergency service i.e. urgent / last-minute will be charged at the following rates. Our Emergency Hotline is 98892778.


After Working Hour Charges

Monday to Saturday 

5 pm to 12 am charged at $129.60 per hour

12 am to 9 am charged at $194.40 per hour


Sunday / Public Holiday

9:01 am to 5 pm charged at $194.40 per hour

5:01 pm to 12 am charged at $270.00 per hour

12:01 am to 9 am charged at $345.60 per hour

For Purchase, Cancellation or Refund

1. Purchase

PME reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at/on our physical and online store at any time. In the event of a price change, orders placed after the price change will not be affected. 

​2. Order Cancellation

PME's approval is required for order cancellation requests regardless of whether the shipment has been arranged. If you wish to cancel an order after placing it, please contact us via Whatsapp at 8889 7783 or email to as soon as possible. Order cancellation is subject to 5% to 20% administrative fee of the total of purchase, depending on the nature of products and services.


3. Refund & Return

Refunds and returns are not allowed. If the item has defect(s), an exchange may be allowed (with original packaging and labels intact) subject to PME's investigation and approval.
