Online Store

How do I know if the product I’m looking for online is available?


If the product is available online, a yellow "Add to Cart" button will appear directly below the price on the product’s listing and detail pages. However, if it is not available, a red "Sold Out" button will appear on the right-top corner of the item image.




How many products can I order at one time?


Generally, there is no restriction to the quantity of the products you may order. However, especially for products on offer, we may, at our discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. Should a restriction apply, a notification will be sent to the email you provided within 3 business working day.




What if the product runs out of stock after I have ordered or made payment?


We try our best to make sure this will not happen through stringent checks and follow-ups, but should it occur: 1. If the product is currently unavailable, we will provide the next earliest availability and delivery date or an alternative product model. 2. Should the options offered be deemed not suitable, we reserve the rights to cancel the order and refund the full amount of the purchase.




How do I make a purchase online at www.pohmeng.com.sg?


1. Visit our online store at https://www.pohmeng.com.sg/shop. You will need to log in / sign up as a member to make purchases by clicking on "Log In / Sign Up". You may log in / sign up using your Facebook, Google or Email Account. 2. Select the product you want to buy. 3. Click "Add to Cart". 4. Go to "View Cart". For servicing packages, please indicate your preferred date and time. 5. If you have a Promo Code that you would wish to use, please enter the promo code and click "Apply". 6. Click "Checkout" when you are ready to pay. 7. Select your payment mode. For credit/debit card payment, please indicate your card details. Be assured that your credit/debit card details will not be disclosed to us. 8. Input your particulars. 9. Review and agree to our Privacy Policy (including Terms & Conditions) before placing your order. 10. Once the order is made, you will see the confirmation on the same page and a confirmation email will be sent to you.




How do I view my orders and past purchases?


Click on "View Order" in your Account Info to view your orders and past purchases.

My air-conditioner makes noise after I switch it on for some time. Why is this so?

Foul smell comes out from my air-conditioner when I first turn it on. Why is this so?


This is also known as the dirty sock syndrome, which is caused by the build up of dust and bacteria on the evaporator coil overtime. If not resolved promptly, the mold may get into the air-conditioning system and starts to mulitply. Mold can be harmful to people, especially those with asthma, low immunity, and are allergic. Impurities on the evaporator coil can generally be cleared with regular servicing or chemical cleaning. A worst-case scenario would be replacing the evaporator coil. What is the difference between servicing and chemical cleaning?


General servicing cleans the external parts of an air-conditioner. On the other hand, chemical cleaning cleans the air-conditioner more thoroughly by dismantling both the external and internal parts i.e. coils, trays, etc with a chemical solution strong enough to remove molds and bacteria, without harming the air-conditioning components. Energy Labelling Scheme indicates energy efficiency information of the product to help consumers make purchase decision by differentiating the product by energy efficiency and simulate introduction of cost effective, energy efficient technology. What is the estimated electrical consumption of an air conditioner per month?


You can calculate using this formula: Estimated Electrical Consumption = Input (kW) X No. of hours used X No. of days per month X Current Utility Rate Of course, the air conditioner model and usage pattern also plays a part! Contact us if you have any questions on this!




What is the average life span of a residential air conditioner?


Every equipment lifespan is subjective to individual's usage and maintenance. Don't forget to service your aircons every 3 - 6 months to maintain its equipment efficiency level, call us to book an appointment today!




What air-conditioner model is suitable for my residence?


The selection depends on room size, usage, number of rooms you require to be air conditioned, HDB requirements and your preferred temperature setting.
